1. No Hot Water or No Heating
One of the most obvious boiler issues is when you suddenly have no heating or hot water. This can be caused by a faulty thermostat, low pressure, a pilot light issue, or a circulation problem. Before calling an engineer, check that your thermostat is correctly set and functioning, and that the boiler’s pressure gauge is within the normal range (typically 1–1.5 bar).
