£7,500 Heat Pump Grants and Zero VAT

For homeowners and small businesses

The UK Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) offers grants of up to £7,500 to help cover the cost of installing an air-source or ground-source heat pump. This grant is available to homeowners and small businesses looking to replace their existing oil, gas, LPG, or electric heating with a low-carbon alternative.

Currently, heat pump installations also benefit from 0% VAT, reducing the upfront cost even further until at least 2027.
